Georgina Murphy PhD
Georgina is a Senior Investment Manager for the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), a sovereign development fund with a unique mandate to invest on a commercial basis in a manner designed to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. She leads life science investment for the ISIF, covering Limited Partnership commitments to a portfolio of life science venture funds and direct equity investment, where ISIF seeks to provide patient capital to scaling Irish businesses. Georgina has extensive experience in the commercialisation of innovative technologies and has worked for Enterprise Ireland, private Life Science companies and Research Institutions, including Dublin City University and Partners Healthcare in Boston, where she led technology licensing, co-development deals and spin- out company creation. Prior to joining the ISIF, Georgina led life science investment for the University Bridge Fund at Atlantic Bridge. Georgina holds a BSc in Pharmacology and a PhD in Neuropharmacology. She holds a Diploma in Intellectual Property and Technology Law and completed the Chartered Director Programme at the Institute of Directors Ireland.
Ian Curtin Ogilvy Consulting Principal
Ian works with clients in Ireland and across EMEA on culture, organisation design, and people and behavioural change. He has over 16 years of experience working on business transformations across a range of sectors. During a career spent both in industry with global ICT services company BT and in consulting, Ian has led and delivered numerous transformation programs including strategic change, organisational strategy & design, culture assessment and evolution, and digital enablement to support technology investment. He has worked with global clients, large Irish businesses, and a range of Irish government agencies and departments.
