Marianne has 30 years’ global experience as an HR Executive, Future of Work Strategist and Professor of Leadership. She holds a Masters degree in HR and Organisational Psychology and is completing her PHD in Leadership in the Future of Work context. She currently runs Roux Consulting, a global niche consulting firm based in Dublin, Ireland and teaches regularly at Business Schools around the world. She has worked for PWC, Accenture, Deloitte and Mercer and has held two HR Director roles in two countries at Woolworths Food South Africa and Cricket Australia. In his day job, Simon is leading the strategy for Novartis to ‘Go Big on Learning’ in support of the company-wide culture transformation to become ‘Inspired, Curious, and Unbossed’. She has recently published a book on Adaptive HR and a Personal Agility reflection journal: Knowing Your Superpowers is the Key to Your Success in a changing World and she is featured in Maturing Leadership: How Adult Development Impact Leadership. She was chosen as one of 52 Inspirational women at work in South Africa in 2004, one of 20 Female Entrepreneurs by Management today in 2011 in Australia and in 2015 she won the excellence in NFP consulting award from the Worldwide Who’s Who. Before Novartis and Lloyds, he led the UK Learning Strategy offering at Accenture, and co-founded one of the UK’s leading e-Learning companies, BrightWave. He has worked with leading global organisations including Microsoft, HSBC, Barclays, BP, Canon and PwC Marianne Roux Director Roux Consulting Simon Brown co-author of The Curious Advantage With a background in science, Lily’s 30+ year career included senior management positions in industry and education. Upon retirement, she wrote Spastic Diplegia–Bilateral Cerebral Palsy in conjunction with senior medical staff at Gillette Children’s Hospital in Minnesota. Lily co-authored Pure Grit: Stories of Remarkable People Living with Physical Disability with Kara Buckley, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Pure Grit tells the stories of nineteen people across the globe, who grew up with physical disability and are living and thriving in diverse fields. He is also Chief Learning Officer for Novartis, a leading global medicine company based in Switzerland. In 2020, Simon and the Novartis team received recognition by being awarded with the Chief Learning Officer Gold Award for Learning Strategy, building on Simon’s previous Silver Award for his learning transformation work at Lloyds Banking Group. In 2021, Novartis’ commitment to learning was recognised in the ATD BEST Awards as the #3 company globally, for success in talent development.
