Program Finds Cadets a Circle to Cheef It's only three weeks into the holiday season, and already local foundation Angel Cheefers has their hands full. Already, 420 cadets have found cir- cles across Cannatown to roast with this season, many of whom will share in a munchies feast thereaer as well. mid-grade beasties. "Its perfect," she says, relieved, "I even brought my own roach clip." Without the Angels, she says, there'd only be buzzkill in her stocking. "I just didnt know how I was going to get blazed this year," says Fred Winston, another applicant who is down on his luck, and, worse, has no nearby friends or family holding, much less, ready to share. " ankfully the Angel Cheefers have me covered." Sometimes, the o er to cheef can blossom into a beautiful relationship. "We're still waiting for Mitch to move o of our couch from last year," says one charitable giver, Charles Finney. He and his ancée Matilda have been volunteer circle hosts each year now, and say that, despite the occasional unwanted roomates, they will never stop par- ticipating in Angel Cheefers because kind souls once helped them. "I'll never forget," recalls Finney, "I was visiting family in Squaresville years ago, so desperate for a chance to smake that I went for a walk in the cold to search for ditchweed. A car I walked by rolled down its windows and smoke billowed out, and two very cheefed-out fellas asked if I needed to hot- box quick. I said yes please and thanked them for the yuletide miracle. And I remember thinking, some day I want to be a cheef angel for another poor bastard, just like those guys." Sometimes the program can even match recipients by their strain or ingestion preferences. I Just Made is Satchel Last a Whole Month Anything can happen in this crazy year, and for the rst time, something magical just happened at my humble little apart- by Hugh Jollydab
World's Most Genius Work Ever Destroyed e most starkly-intelli- gent writing of all time existed for brief moment, following an IQ experi- ment testing high-grade live rosin on some of the world's most advanced thinkers. e program, part of the Toking Fel- lowship at Cannatown University, got test sub- jects "high AF" before subjecting them to a list of questions engineered to produce pure human genius. One subject, Oliver Jenkins, produced output so advanced that it broke records on mul- tiple levels. But like the elusive "God" particle appearing for a brief mo- ment in a semi-conduc- tor, the written thesis lasted mere seconds in entirety, when Jenkins, stoned as a shithouse rat, exclaimed his "work was complete" whilst ac- cidentally soaking it with a canister of kerosene that was sitting nearby for no apparent reason. ment: I made this satchel last a whole month. at's right ye homies of little faith, I did the impossible--something we all talk about casually but nobody’s ever seen it done. A whole month. Just imagine ! Well, that’s 2025 for you. It wasn't easy of course. First I used
balloons. Every pu was at least a double-pu . en I was really careful to remove each morsel and speck of dust from my grinder using a shaving kit brush like a compulsive archeologist. en I pre-measured each bowl and planned a whole regimen that would get me through. I kept a satchel log and alarms on my phone. I even downloaded a satchel dieting app that paced me hard, kept my J's thin and bowls packed light. I get a lot of satchels, but for some reason I was just being really careful with this one, some unbelievable Phnom Penh. And I saw a di erence, the way the nuggersh just seemed to last. Even so, at my steady two pu s per four hours I was fast on the path to buzzkill by fortnight’s end. I realized early the rst week, that I’d never make it a month, much less, a week at most. Just like 99.99% of my other satchels, I was about to roast a couple fatties until morning because it was such a lost cause trying to hold back. en all of a sudden, the unthinkable happened: I lost my satchel. I thought maybe I threw it away or laundry or le it out by the bong. I tore apart my refrigerator looking for it. en I scoured the rest of my favorite stash points but couldn’t nd it. I reached a working theory aer thinking and thinking and clawing at the carpet--I guessed that in a t of highness, that I’d somehow hauled o and cheefed the whole thing, wholly unbeknownst to myself. Not entirely a far-fetched scenario, if you remember my last anksgiving “feast” right? I put up signs about a missing satchel all over town. People called to say they'd spotted it, but then it turned out, they were looking at their own satchels and it was the wrong satchel. Oh wait, shit, this is the satchel I just bought, they'd say. But I didn’t let it get me down. I knew in my heart of hearts that the satchel wasn't in the garbage. I knew one day, I'd chief her again. I’ll admit, I was a weak man. I still went and bought me a couple other satchels in meantime. But a couple days ago, right before the month ended, I found her, crammed behind the Xbox. It was like discovering treasure, man, it was so special. is one, this one satchel lasted, the longest-term satchel I've ever had. And I wouldn’t believe it unless it happened to me.

But my homie said, “If ya see it in Cannapages, it is so.” Please tell me the truth, is there a St. Nickeljoint? - Virginia O’Green Virginia, ose skeptic dudes are are wrong. ey’ve been a ected by the total drag of the downer age. ey do not believe except what they smake. ey think that nothing can be, which is not smake-able by their little bowls. All bowls, Virginia, whether they be men’s, or women’s, are little. In this great Canniverse of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, especially when medicated. Yes, Virginia, there is a St. Nickeljoint. He exists as certainly as sparkling ower, and hash oil, and keef-rolled wax-infused doobies, and you know that these things abound and give to our life its high- est, highest joy. And munchies. Alas! How big a bummer, would be the world if there were no St. Nickeljoint! You might get your homies to watch all the couches in town, just to catch Nickeljoint crashing for a few hours, then roasting a bowl before duck-taping Zip-loc bags full of freshly-cured cannabis upon the mantel--but even if they didn’t see this very spectacle, what would that prove? Nobody sees St. Nickeljoint, not since he gave all his clothes and belongings away on the Amsterdam river ats in the 80’s. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a Nickeljoint. e most real things in the world, are the things you only see when you’re higher than a kite and sitting in your own living room. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course you did, we all did, when the Durban Poison wax came through town. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders that are unseen, unless we keep smakin’ on that wax. Where was I? Oh, yes. Only a true, teary-eyed roast can push aside that curtain, to view the supernatural glory of cannabis beyond our wildest dreams. Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world, there is nothing else that totally abides so hard. No St. Nickeljoint? ank God he lives and he lives forever, up in the Highlands! ‘NUGGERSH IN THE KNICKERS’ Wastey’s Department Store Lower Cannhattan 5th Avenue is year marks 150 years of nding the “Nuggersh in the Knickers,” an ongoing event hosted at Wastey’s in downtown Can- naTown that has brought generation aer generation out to nd the nd the hidden, and very skunky nuggersh, hidden in the pockets of a mystery pair of slacks located somewhere within the store. Navigating through literal mountains of garments, crowds descend daily to see who can dis- cover the nuggersh--which goes home with the person who nds it. “I’ve been doing this with my whole family for decades,” said Flo May ower as she waded knee-deep through a room of khakis. “One year we almost won. We smelled it, but we couldn’t nd it.” is year may be one of the most successful ever, because “it inspires us all that any one, rich or poor, could nd the nuggersh,” says store manager Barney Stone. "Even me again."

In the Kitchen THE CANNABIS KITCHEN: THAT'S HOW WE ROLL (LEFSE)
ere's nothing like tradition during the holidays and for us, it's the good ol' fashioned baking of lefse using Grandma's age-old recipe. Infuse or eat with straight cannabut- ter--this food is a palette! If you do it right, you'll have plenty for the family reunion or a long winter ahead (it can be frozen). Norway don't stay away when it comes into town! Ingredients 5 large russet potatoes 3 Tbsp butter ½ cup heavy cream (or milk) 1 tsp salt 1 to 1½ cups all-purpose our (added later) Directions Peel your russet potatoes, cut them into chunks, and boil until very tender — think mashed potato so. Drain them completely (you don’t want extra water). en rice or mash them until smooth. No lumps! Lumps can tear the lefse later. While the potatoes are still warm, mix in the butter, cream, and salt. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy. en measure how many cups you have, as you'll need this later. Next, chill. is step is key. Spread the
potato mixture out a bit to help it cool, then refrigerate (covered) for at least 4 hours. Once chilled, gradually stir in about ⅓ cup of our for each cup of potatoes. Go for a so dough that’s just dry enough to handle with- out sticking to your hands. Add more our as needed, but don’t overwork it — the more you handle it, the tougher it’ll get. Divide the dough into golf-sized balls and keep them covered so they don’t dry out. On a lightly oured surface, roll each ball into a paper-thin circle — around 10 to 12 inches wide. If it sticks, dust with a bit more our. Next, heat your griddle to medium-high (about 450°F). Carefully li a rolled-out piece of dough with your lefse stick or spatula and place it on the griddle. Cook until light brown spots form — usually 30–45 seconds per side. Flip and cook the other side. Lay each cooked lefse on a clean towel and cover with another towel to keep them so as they cool. Once cooled, you can fold them or roll them up. Keep them wrapped to prevent drying out. is recipe can yield around 40 pieces -- i.e., if you've infused your 3 Tbsp butter with 1g 90% distillate, each serving runs ~20mg.

In the Grow Room Dial in Your Temps: e Secret to Frosty, Sticky, Potent Buds
We all know temperature plays a major role in the quality of your cannabis—but striking the right balance for both yield and quality goes deeper than just heat. As indoor growers, we have the unique advantage of controlling nearly every envi- ronmental variable. And temperature is just one of many that directly in uence your nal results. If any of this sounds like you, keep reading: Your cannabis always loses its stickiness. You’re disappointed by the lack of smell from your buds. Your plants don’t look as frosty as others you’ve seen. Your bud degrades quickly and loses potency…then I’ve got some answers for you. Before we get into the good stu , I’m going to assume you can grow and get the basics right. ese tips are for those of you who already grow healthy plants but want to level up the quality of your nal product. Temps at the end of ower Cannabis likes it cool when owering. Low is the way to go, and earlier than you think. Mimic autumn temperatures for the best re- sults. As soon as you start to notice that rst strong smell when opening your tent (or even just before), it’s time to back o those temps. If your plants stink, great! But remember, you want to keep as many of those terpenes on the bud, not in the air, for the best result at harvest. If you’ve got climate control equipment (like air conditioning), aim for around 79°F by week 4 of ower, then reduce by at least 2°F each week until harvest. If you can’t reduce temps, then reduce your light brightness. More light does not equal frostier, better-smelling plants, it’s actually the reverse. Less is more. I’ve grown huge buds by reducing PPFD from week 4 onwards. If you want top-shelf quality, you need to nd the balance. Genetics aside, it separates good cannabis from great.
Reduce night temps by week 3 of ower If you want the best frost production and the stickiest-icky, night temps are where it’s at. Most growers keep pounding their plants with high night and day temps all through ower, and then wonder why their weed is dry and has lost its smell. Cannabis terpenes expression happens at night. Everything should be about preserva- tion, and to do that, colder temps are the key. “But what about mold?” Yeah, I get it. Let’s break it down… Between week 3 and week 5, you can safely get away with lower night temps and higher humidity without risking mold. is gives you a win- dow of opportunity to push terpene preserva- tion before mold becomes a concern. It looks like this: In Weeks 3 to 5 aim for 55 to 63°F night temperature. Humidity max: 75% (or under 60% if you’re running HVAC). Beyond week 5, regardless of temp, you want to keep humidity under 60% as much as possible. If that means warmer nights, so be it.
