GPA: Was it a big adjustment to change direction like that?

How did your role at Cox & Co. grow and change once you started applying what you knew? My programming skills and art became part of my work because I could use them to create flyers and brochures. I could use my experience with 3D modelling to render logos to use. We brought brochures I had made to career fairs and I made a LinkedIn promo video too - A Payroll Christmas Carol - with Ebeneezer Steve stuck in the manual payroll habits of the past!

D: Because there were tech skills involved in what I had done before my skill set was actually very relevant in my new role too. I noticed my colleagues making videos and gave them some help and realised I could use what I knew and was good at. Tracy, my colleague, asked me to look into Microsoft Access and I started to do more with my existing skills. I was able to develop a CMI [Interactive command] database for the entire business and now I do all scheduling.
