– Chair, Mandy Moriarty – Finance, Shannon MacLean – Volunteers, Cory Furlotte – Security, Jeremy Sutherland – Site Operations, Megan Hartling – Sponsorship and Alyssa Chisholm - Admin. The annual event is crewed by more than 300 volunteers from the community. The Board of Directors have built the Riverfront Jubilee into a signature Nova Scotia music event and mainstay of the local tourism industry. "This year’s festival brings a few local Pictou County favourites back to the stage. We are very proud that all artists on our main stage and off are proud Canadian artists and the majority of those call the East Coast home,” said Michelle MacLean, Chair - Riverfront Jubilee. The Riverfront Jubilee is a 3-time Music Nova Scotia (MNS) Event of the Year recipient, 3-time ECMA Event of the Year nominee, and winner of the TIANS Golden Hospitality Award (2013). It has been host to Music Nova Scotia, East Coast Music Association, Juno, and Grammy Award winners and nominees plus gives an opportunity for local musicians an opportunity to perform in a distinctive setting by the East River in an outdoor amphitheatre that provides both artists and music lovers one of the most engaging perfor- mance experiences of its kind. “This is Jubilee’s 22nd year bringing Pictou County a variety of music. We are proud to have the opportunity to bring artists to the area that res- idents wouldn’t normally have the chance to experience at home. We are also honoured to showcase local up and coming talent,” said MacLean.
