Baxter and Jandel Angus - Back to the Basics Angus Bull & Female Sale [4/21/26]

Welcome It is with much optimism that we welcome you to our annual Bull and Female Sale. The cattle cycle will stay in our favor for some time, even when herd rebuilding begins

Welcome to the 2026 Baxter and Jandel Angus Ranch Production Sale.

Every year I know I say that the cattle have stepped it up a notch, and I feel this year is no different. The cattle industry is very optimistic in these high cattle prices sticking around. With the low number of cattle throughout the world and

the supply of meat in the pipeline will be limited. As it gets harder to keep input costs down, it becomes ever more important that we select fast growing cattle that have longevity, maternal based, and efficiency built into them. This is a big goal of our when selecting cattle to breed and bring into our herd. The bulls are developed in a large pen, on a high roughage diet. With the lack of being pushed feed wise, you will find the feet and ability for the bulls to cover acres is an added attribute to our bulls. I am once again offering my entire heifer crop this year. With our focus on efficient maternal genetics, you will find that these heifers will excel in most any environment. After the sale, we would like heifers to be picked up as soon as possible. We would love to have you out for a stop any time throughout the year, feel free to get ahold of myself or Jade to come look at the cattle anytime. If you aren’t able to come prior or make the sale, DVAuction will broadcast the sale on their platform. Login or contact any of the Sales Ring-men for any insite as well. I hope to see you at the Ranch at 5pm April 21st for a snappy sale and lunch to follow!

the highest natural source of protein in our pasture, times will be plentiful for us cattlemen and women. For Jandel Angus, the trail is entrenched even deeper in our belief in great cows that make the foundation for a profitable ranch. Our cows excel in udder quality, square feet, and pounds on the ground. The cow herd base here is culled extremely hard for all these qualities; and if they don’t meet those criteria, I promise you won’t be seeing them offered. We take immense pride in the cattle that we offer to you all, wishing nothing but success for you and the livestock purchased. The year was one to remember with building up the cow herd with top-tier genetics, and adding our 3rd child in December, Holland Elinor Jandel. She has added an abundance of joy to our family, as well as a sleep schedule that is not so great with calving checks throughout the night. Cleo continues to be the little spitfire that has such a kind heart. We are excited to have softball season start and show off a bit of speed! Kane continues to improve with wrestling and placed 6th in the state for the second time in his career. The Kids are my greatest joy, and watching them grow into respectable humans means more to me than anything. Our glue to the operation, Jenna, continues to be our Wayfinder in this crazy life. Keeping all of us in line and on schedule, she truly is remarkable putting up with me and the ranch schedule. Lastly, I truly want to give a heartfelt thank you and welcome to you all. Without your belief in our genetics, my dreams wouldn’t be coming to fruition. We continue to mold the cow herd into cattle that will profit you in different aspects in the industry. Thank you, We appreciate each and everyone of you!!

Mark Baxter

With Love,

Jade, Jenna, Cleo, Kane, Holland
