RECYCLING

RECYCLING In 2021, we continued our recycling programs in the major categories of oil and batteries as well as our cardboard, stretch wrap and scrap metal recycling programs. Our stores collect a sizeable amount of used oil from our customers. The oil we receive at our stores is transferred to a third-party to re-refine into a base stock that is then used primarily as lubricant. Similarly, when customers bring their old automobile or light truck batteries to our stores, we recycle them for no charge and even provide those customers a $10 Advance gift card that can be used for a future in-store purchase.
