When you say your trips are good for the world, that has to include the planet too — and Trees For Days is our global program for doing just that. For every day a traveller is on one of our trips, we’ll grow a tree on their behalf in one of 14 reforestation projects around the world. More days equals more trees, and a healthier planet overall.
Planeterra is G Adventures’ non-profit partner dedicated to helping communities benefit from the power of responsible tourism. They do this by helping empower local people to develop their communities, conserve their cultures, and implement plans for reaching their goals.
When it came to benefitting local economies, we wanted to make it easy for our travellers to see the difference they’re making. That’s why we created the Ripple Score. On a scale from 0 to 100, it shows what percentage of a traveller’s money stays in the local communities they visit on their trip with us. The higher the number, the bigger impact their money has.
