We provide litigation and other dispute resolution services in multijurisdictional and high-stake matters deliver regulatory counsel, and execute the full range of strategic domestic and cross-border transactions. Training programme Given the range of work undertaken in the London office, trainees get the chance to have a varied training contract and develop a wide range of skills. We offer a four-seat programme, and there are also opportunities for secondments to clients and our overseas offices. We have developed a new version of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) that fully integrates legal and business learning and leads to a unique master’s qualification, the LLM Legal Commercial Practice. Our bespoke programme was the first of its kind and allows students to study commercial and legal aspects in parallel so that they complete the course before entering the training contract with us. Work placements Our summer vacation scheme allows delegates to spend two weeks in the firm, sitting in two different groups of their choice. In addition to shadowing associates and partners in the team, delegates participate in bespoke training sessions and practical exercises to build their skills and knowledge. They also enjoy a number of social events arranged for the group. Each year we offer places to applicants who will, on arrival, have completed at least two years of undergraduate study. Sponsorship We pay for course fees and provide financial assistance for the LPC and GDL.
