Description of Chambers We are one of the leading sets of chambers specialising in civil and commercial work.

We are based in Inner Temple overlooking the garden and River Thames. With over 100 members and 25 clerks, we are one of the larger London chambers, however we are also a welcoming, friendly and collegiate community. Areas of work We undertake a range of common law and commercial work, with particular specialisms in personal injury, clinical negligence, construction, commercial contracts, insurance and reinsurance, health and safety, product liability and professional negligence. Who should apply We look for a first or upper second-class honours degree, not necessarily in law. We will be looking for motivation, dedication and intelligence which are the hallmarks of a first-class barrister and a flair for the oral and written presentation of complex legal arguments. We also look for well-rounded individuals with a range of extra-curricular experience. You will be expected to work hard and to show strong commitment to your work, but in a friendly and relaxed chambers environment. We support equality and diversity in chambers and welcome applications from all qualified applicants. Pupillage programme Pupils are welcomed as an integral part of chambers from the moment they arrive. You sit with two pupil supervisors in your first six months and one in your second. You will work with a number of barristers practising in different areas of work over the course of the year. You appear in court regularly during your second six, handling applications and small trials in the county courts. You will have ample opportunity to develop advocacy skills. We also provide formal advocacy training sessions. When and how to apply To apply, please download our application form from our website at www.crownofficechambers.com/careers/pupillage.
