Two dahlia shows are sponsored by The Carolina Classic Fair and fully supported by The Central Carolina Dahlia Society. We thank DAHLIAS FLORAL DESIGN, Clemmons, NC for sponsoring the Dahlia Best of Show awards. We thank our ADS (American Dahlia Society) accredited judges and experienced dahlia growers, as well as our dahlia clerks, assisting with judging and our experienced and novice exhibitors. Without our exhibitors, there would be no dahlias for the public to see. I2- FRIDAY SHOW - “Giddy Up Little Dogies” J2- WEDNESDAY SHOW - “Circle the Wagons” Prize Money: 1st: $3.00 2nd: $2.00 3rd: $1.00 The Central Carolina Dahlia Society welcomes all dahlia growers, novice and experienced, to show your best blooms! Best of Show Awards will given $10.00. ****RULES*** Pre-entry is required for Dahlias specimens on the Friday and Wednesday Shows. Please enter all categories you feel you may have specimens. Once entry tags are received, bring only the tags and specimens that you feel are qualified for show(s). • More than one exhibitor may exhibit from the same garden. • Only named dahlias are eligible for BEST of SHOW awards for each section. • Blooms without at least one set of foliage on the stem will be disqualified. • Blooms not disbudded will be penalized. • Exhibitors may use wedging OF ANY APPROPRIATE MATERIAL. • All types of dahlias other than Singles, Collarettes, Anemones, Orchids, and Orchettes may be entered in classes 210 through 229. • Dahlias will be judged by ADS (American Dahlia Society) accredited judges and experienced dahlia growers.
