Get into the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 6, at Gloucester Main Street’s annual Holiday Open House! Spend the day downtown enjoying festive shopping, holiday cheer, and special activities for the whole family. Local businesses will be open, and Santa will be coming to town for photos with the little ones. The celebration continues into the afternoon with the Gloucester County Holiday Parade and the lighting of the Court Circle Tree—making this the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in the heart of Gloucester!
Concerts by the Bay Presents “Kinnfolk” Celtic Music December 7
Concerts By The Bay presents “KINNFOLK” , a husband and wife Celtic folk music duo, on December 7 at 3 PM at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School, Mathews, VA. Josh and Julie Kinn will perform with mandolin and Irish drum combined with vocal harmonies from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their pieces include selections of sea shanties, working songs, traditional tunes, original compositions and favorites. Sharing stories from Appalachia, Kinfolk is rooted in tradition, lore and ancestry. Named one of the top Celtic folk bands to watch in 2025 by The Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Concerts By The Bay is supported by the Virginia Commission For The Arts and Mathews Community Foundation. Tickets are $30 at the door, students admitted free.
