Just up the street, a business has transitioned from home to a convenient Main Street-centered location. Be sure to stop by Virginia Made Products to find that local flair in all your skincare and bath products. These handmade creations are sure to be “just the thing” this upcoming holiday season! In other news, a local salon has received a recent updo! Blown Away Salon & Academy, a full cosmetology school, is now open at an adjoining location next door to Blown Away Salon itself. The academy’s curriculum is designed to train students in the skills required for licensure and professional salon practice. This new establishment also creates greater opportunities for individuals seeking cosmetology training without leaving the region. Overall, this expansion represents not just a physical enlargement of their facilities, but also a broader commitment to investing in local talent and enriching the Gloucester business community. There have been 28 new home-based businesses and 13 commercial businesses thus far this year!
