airBaltic iz Letonije Maj je idealno vreme za neko kraće putovanje. Šta biste vi preporučili našim putnicima? – Kao preporuku bih posebno izdvojio Rim, grad koji u ovom periodu godine pruža savršen balans između istorije, kulture i uži- vanja u svakodnevnom životu, a prolećna atmosfera daje poseb- nu čar svakom delu grada. Uz to, bašte restorana i kafića su u pu- nom sjaju, što omogućava putnicima da na pravi način dožive italijanski stil života. Er Srbija ovog meseca poleće do novih destinacija – Baku i Toronto. Jeste li bili u ovim gradovima i kojem se možda ipak malo više radujete? – Nisam imao priliku da posetim Baku ili Toronto, a ako bih morao da izdvojim, možda bih se ipak malo više radovao da po- setim Baku, jer je to potpuno nova destinacija koja donosi nešto drugačije u odnosu na evropske gradove. Sa druge strane, To- ronto predstavlja veliku, dugoočekivanu interkontinentalnu lini- ju i simbol povezanosti sa Severnom Amerikom, što mu daje po- sebnu težinu. Koja vam je pista najdraža i zbog čega? MIHAJLO STEPANOVIĆ, MLAĐI KOPILOT, „ERBAS“ / JUNIOR FIRST OFFICER - AIRBUS GOVORI / SPEAKING… – Jedna od pista koja mi je posebno draga je 30R (desno) na Aerodromu „Nikola Tesla“ u Beogradu. Razlog za to je sam prilaz, koji vodi direktno preko grada, pružajući jedinstvenu perspekti- vu Beograda iz pilotske i putničke kabine. Taj pogled, naročito u večernjim satima kada je grad osvetljen, ima posebnu emociju za mene, jer je to grad u kojem sam odrastao. Svaki dolazak nosi dozu ličnog značaja i podseca me na početke, ali i na put koji me je doveo do pilotske kabine.
airBaltic May is the ideal month for a short break, where would you recommend that our passengers fly? “I would particularly single out Rome as a recommendation – as a city that offers a perfect balance between history, culture and the enjoyment of everyday life during this period, while the spring atmosp- here gives each part of the city a special charm. Apart from that, the gardens of restaurants and cafés are in their full splendour, enabling tra- vellers to experience the Italian lifestyle in the proper way.” Air Serbia takes off to new destinations this month Lietuva – in Baku and Toronto. Have you been to these cities and which are you more looking forward to experiencing? “I haven’t had an opportunity to visit either Baku or Toronto, but if I had to choose, I’d perhaps be slightly more thrilled to visit Baku, as it is a completely new destination that brings something different compared to the European cities. On the other hand, Toronto repre- sents a major and long-awaited intercontinental route and a sym- bol of our connection with North America, which gives it special im- portance.” Which is your favourite runway and why? airBaltic “One of the runways that’s particularly dear to me is 30R (right) at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. The reason is the approach itself, which leads directly over the city and thus provides a unique perspective on Belgrade from the cockpit and passenger cabin. That view, particularly when the city is illuminated in the evening hours, evokes a special emo- tion in me, because that’s the city where I grew up. Each arrival carries a degree of personal significance and reminds me of my beginnings, but also of the journey that brought me to the cockpit.”
