IZLOŽBA / EXHIBITION Svetli i strašni gradovi Bright and Terrible Cities U metnica Željka Mićanović Miljković predstavlja izložbu „Svetli i straš- ni gradovi“ u „X Vitamin“ galeriji. Kroz slike, umetničku knjigu, objek- te od keramike i porcelana, kao i video-rad, umetnica istražuje grad kao slojeviti prostor sećanja, iskustava i imaginacije. Grad se u njenom radu ne po- javljuje kao mesto, već kao stanje. Grad je centralna tema dugogodišnjeg umet- ničkog i teorijskog istraživanja autorke, koja je u svojoj doktorskoj disertaciji proučavala ideju idealnog grada kao prostora projekcije želja, moći i imagina- cije. Izložba u Beogradu predstavlja i simbolički povratak umetnice u grad rane mladosti, susret sa mestima koja su oblikovala njen umetnički pogled na svet. Izložba „Svetli i strašni gradovi“ traje do 17. maja. A rtist Željka Mićanović Miljković is presenting the exhibition Bright and Scary Cities at Belgrade’s X Vitamin gallery. Through paintings, an art book, ceramic and porcelain objects, as well as a video installation, this artist explores the city as a layered space of memories, experiences and imagi- nation. Her work doesn’t present the city as a place, but rather as a state of be- ing. The city represents the central theme of many years of the author’s artis- tic and theoretical research, with her doctoral dissertation even exploring the idea of the ideal city as a space for the projection of desires, power and imagi- nation. In Belgrade, the exhibition also represents the artist’s symbolic return to the city of her early youth, marked by encounters with the places that shaped her artistic worldview. The exhibition remains on display in the Serbian capital until 17 th May.

Domaće drame na Sterijinom pozorju Domestic dramas at Sterija’s Theatre U okviru 71. izdanja Sterijinog pozorja u Novom Sadu, koje će se održati od 26. ma- ja do 3. juna, takmičarski program čini- će osam predstava. Fokus ovogodišnjeg festivala biće isključivo na domaćim dramskim tekstovi- ma i produkcijama, čime se naglašava suštinska misija festivala – afirmacija nacionalne drame i savremenog pozorišnog izraza. T he competitive programme of the 71 st edi- tion of Sterija’s Theatre Festival in Novi Sad – set to take place from 26 th May to 3rd June – will comprise eight plays. This year’s fes- tival will focus exclusively on domestic dramat- ic texts and productions, thus emphasising the festival’s essential mission of affirming nation- al drama productions and contemporary theat- rical expression.
