Elks Teenager Citizen of the Year Emily Fortin
Emily Fortin is a driven student-athlete who balances academic excellence with standout athletic performance. While holding an impressive 3.83 GPA at Righetti High School she has also been awarded Scholar Athlete Honors all 4 years and has excelled in both Varsity Volleyball and Softball since her freshman year. Her accolades include Mountain League MVP, “Pitcher of the Year,” multiple First Team All-League selections, the Warrior Award, and over 500 career varsity strikeouts. She’s also been recognized as NSBC Round Table Athlete of the Week multiple times. Beyond high school, Emily pitches for Premier I-5 Softball 16U Snyder, competing at one of the region’s most competitive travel ball levels. A former Girl Scout of nine years, she carries the values of leadership, service, and determination into every arena she steps into. In addition to team sports, Emily is a high level Cornhole player and is sponsored by Brotherhood Cornhole. She’s earned 1st Place in ACL (American Cornhole League) Open #9 and the ACL West Coast Conference, with several other top-three finishes in state and regional competitions.
