Born and raised on California’s Central Coast, Kristie has dedicated her life to education, community service, and uplifting those around her. A proud graduate of Righetti High School and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master’s in Education, and a Teaching Credential. Her career in education has taken her through RHS, SMHS, PVHS, Delta, and currently the Mark Richardson CTE Center, where she serves as a Special Education Teacher and CTE Specialist. Kristie is also a mentor, student teacher supervisor, and active member on numerous committees—roles that reflect her passion for shaping the future. Kristie feels so blessed to be a part of an amazing community. As a cancer survivor, the Golden Circle of Champions Program holds deep personal meaning to her. She also volunteers at other organizations like Elks Recreation, Altrusa, 4-H, FFA, Grange, Girl Scouts, Warrior Goat, and others. She is also honored to serve as President of the Santa Maria High School FFA Booster Club. Whether teaching, mentoring, or planning events, she strives to lead with faith, compassion, and a heart for service. Most of all, she is proud to be Kayce and Kyle’s mom.
