Saturday Performance Dedication BILL AGIN

Bill Agin as the oldest of five siblings in a Southern California cowboy family, found that hard work, music, and Rodeo have directed his entire life.

The first professional rodeo that he competed in was Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1970. Eight World Championships in Xtreme Bronc Riding and 55 years later, he is still involved with the great sport of rodeo.

Playing music and performing was a natural progression for Bill as his dad, Hal Agin, was a touting member of “the Sons of the Pioneers” during the 1960s.

His wife Chris, their sons, Wade, and Trace, and their wives, Darci and Rhianna, and daughter, Cheyenne, along with their eight Grandchildren, are all residing in the Santa Ynez Valley, and are the greatest blessings in this life.

Rodeo, Music, and other business interests still keep Bill busy every day of the week. He is continually asked, “Bill, when are you going to retire, or at least slow down”. His reply, “The Lord gave me a few talents, an abundance of energy, a lot of luck and I have no desire to quit”.
