Aaron Castellanos has called Santa Maria Valley home his entire life. He attended school in Guadalupe, where he grew up, Righetti High School and later Allan Hancock College. Aaron grew to enjoy a passion for dance, primarily the Ballet Folklorico and Tap style and assisted in teaching this at both the High School and currently for the Hancock Dance department. It was at a young age that he first learned of the Elks programs and their community support. At the age of 15 his first job was working at the Far Western Tavern for 4 years after being hired by Clarence Minetti where Elks conversation was not scarce. Aaron later joined the Elks lodge as a member in 2018 but was quickly mentored into the lodge officer corp. Aaron served as the Santa Maria Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler for the 2023-2024 term and once again sits on the Board of Directors for Elks Recreation, Inc. as Secretary. He looks forward to continue in partnership in the sustainment, evolvement, and future growth and success of both programs. Aaron welcomes everyone to this year’s Santa Maria Elks Rodeo!
