How does jacTUTOR help students?
jacTUTOR helps with content and context. Provide personalised support when students need a bit more for concepts to click. Students can ask jacTUTOR to: Simplify wording in a lesson to create summaries Find relevant local or ‘student‑friendly’ examples and explanations. jacTUTOR guides students with chunked information and scaffolded steps so they discover answers themselves. It won’t give the answer away.
It helps students work through questions Each exercise has the option for jacTUTOR assistance. Students are first guided by three prompts, but they can also ask their own questions. Because jacTUTOR sits within the Jacaranda resource, it tailors responses to suit the relevant curriculum, subject, topic and year level.
