THE OPPORTUNITY AHEAD

The impact of brokers on the Australian economy is significant, and to maintain and grow that impact, brokers have to keep evolving the business. The sector is already showing strong momentum, with 79% of brokers expressing confidence about their business outlook over the next 12 months, and 68% reporting improved performance in the past year. But sustaining that trajectory will depend on continued adaptation. The signals are clear. Australian SMEs and larger businesses are fundamentally important to the country’s strength and economy – and brokers play a critically important role in ensuring risks are managed and the right safety nets in place. In hugely volatile and uncertain times, the business landscape becomes increasingly treacherous, and moving forward, brokers are going to play an even greater role in helping businesses succeed, and the country prosper.
