Eagle Harbour Yacht Club One of the ‘friendliest yacht clubs’ on the coast. Formed on June 1969 as a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Act, the club offers sheltered moorage in a convenient West Vancouver location. Cypress Falls Park Cypress Falls Park is easy to get to and has impressive features, including rushing waterfalls, a raging creek, 300-year-old trees and opportunities for wildlife viewing, all just a short drive from the highway. Its low elevation makes Cypress Falls Park a good option in winter when many other trails are covered in deep snow. Sandy Cove Park and Beach Sandy Cove is a neighbourhood secret! Lighthouse Park Lighthouse Park is a neighbourhood park located in a residential area in West Vancouver. It is a popular tourist attraction for visitors to Vancouver as it is a National Historic Site of Canada.It is a well-maintained park, and is open year- round throughout all four seasons. The park is known for the Point Atkinson Lighthouse, located at the southernmost tip of the peninsula. The park is made up of 75 hectares (182 acres) of mostly virgin rainforest and was founded in 1792. Gleneagles Ch’axáý Elementary School Gleneagles Ch’axáý Elementary School is committed to providing students with an education that will promote a love of learning. As a community of learners, our staff, students and parents work together to create a challenging and supportive school climate that promotes literacy, cognitive skills, responsibility, and caring. Rockridge Secondary School Rockridge Secondary School enrolls students in grades 8 through 12. The student population is approximately 900 students. In addition, the Learning Support Program is available to all students for classroom support, study skills, tutoring, and study support blocks if required. Rockridge Secondary School offers a range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses for Grade 11 and 12 students to get a head start in post-secondary institutions. Rockridge is also an authorized International Baccalaureate World School for the Middle Years Programme. All students in Grades 8-10 participate in the IB Middle Years Programme.
