How will you use your award to promote your business going forward? Winning a Queen’s Award is a clear differentiator to other business and the wider community that you have won the most prestigious business award around. We are incredibly proud of our achievement and we include it in our communications and our marketing collaterals. Our teams also wear their badges with pride.
What do you consider to be the benefits of being a Queen’s Award holder? We are focused on doing the right things as a business and demonstrating that business can and should be a force for good. Recognition for our teams is the primary reason why we apply - when we won there was an incredible sense of pride that continues today. It also ratifies to others, if that were needed, that we were worthy of an award that recognises only the very best. It is a special club to be part of and one which we are rightly proud of. n
Absolutely. This was very much a team effort and the questions involve different inputs from almost every part of the business. It is a great process to bring people together. Describe any challenges you overcame in the process?
We didn’t have any.
Now you’ve won an award, what advice would you give to others thinking of applying? To those thinking about it, do it. To those not thinking of applying, do it. It is worth it.
