DH Nominating Committee Process

A Board candidate should:

Be widely known as a person of integrity, be articulate and command the respect of peers

Have demonstrated ability to work as a team member and ‘sets a good example’ in the way he/she conducts himself/herself; diplomatic

Have served on at least one club committee for at least two years, and been considered a good and reasonable contributor

Be a strategic thinker and be able to focus on ‘core’ issues

Not have a single or self serving agenda, or an actual or potential conflict of interest, and NOT have a goal of running the club

Be enthusiastic about the prospect of serving and able to devote the necessary time

Have outstanding business, administrative, or other valuable experience, proven ability or accomplishments

Be able to clearly articulate “why” he/she wants to serve on this Board
