Greetings,
We would like to welcome you to our annual bull sale on February 10. We are very proud of the quality of Simmental and Angus bulls that we are able to offer this year. We continue to use AI and ET to rapid- ly improve our genetics. Sort through our replacement heifer pen and take a look at the females we will have raising future sale bulls, they are an impressive group. We sold 5 heifer calves this fall that will be shown in ND, SD and IA, the rest of our top end is in the replacement pen. We only offer the top 25% of our bull calf crop in this sale, the rest are sold as feeder cattle at weaning time. We will be using the timed DVAuction format again this year. This is a stress - free way to bid on and buy bulls from your recliner or on your phone while at your kid ’ s ball game. We have had several positive comments about how easy it was to buy bulls this way, so we will continue using this format. Call with any questions or if you need help setting up an account on DV. We do our best taking pictures and videos in December, but keep in mind our bulls are only about 9 months old during this process, so we encourage you to look them over closer to sale time. We will of- fer a $100 sale credit to any customer that visits the ranch and looks at the bulls prior to the sale. We offer free delivery within 200 miles of the ranch after breeding evaluation in April. Cost for delivery over 200 miles will be the responsibility of the buyer, but we will assist in getting the bulls to you. A supple- ment sheet with updated weights will be available on DVAuction prior to the sale. About the Herd
Breeding: We synchronize our cowherd in June each year for AI and ET. We generally AI for a week, put fro- zen embryos in a group of recipient cows and then sort the cows into pastures and turn bulls out. Calving: We aim to start calving the middle of March each year. Our AI and ET calves are born from March 10 to April 5. Bull bred cows will calve for about 45 days starting the end of March. Weaning: The bulls are weaned in October, weighed for their 205 day WW, and then started on a ration of chopped hay, corn silage and creep pellets. We aim for 3 lbs. of gain per day until sale time. Culling: We cull our cowherd heavily for fertility, disposition, foot quality and udder quality. We cull the sale bulls based on birth weight, phenotype & performance, foot quality, disposition and scrotal circumference.
• All of the sale bulls are Homozygous Polled and Homozygous Black this year.
• All of the registered Angus bulls have been tested free of all genetic defects.

Ruby ’ s Currency x Bella. We were looking for a replacement for Edge and decided on his half brother. His calves are stouter than Edges while maintaining his phenotype.
Epic is a tried and true sire that is always siring top - end cattle. We have several daughters in the herd so this year was our last utilizing his genetics. Get em while you can.
Remedy has been one of the most popular AI and ET sires in the Sim- mental breed siring numerous cham- pions and high sellers across the country.

Select Sires AI sire combining TJ Gold with the dam of TJ Chief. More frame and performance than his sire with added calving ease. We kept several replacement females sired by him and will have more next year.
Regulate took the Angus breed by storm when he was named the su- preme champion bull at OKC in ‘22. His calves are moderate framed with an athletic build and excellent dis- position.

Sale Day is February 10, 2025. This sale is a timed event and all bidding happens online at
dvauction.com.
• The sale will be listed on the DVAuction homepage under the heading “ Upcoming Timed Events ”.
• There will be links to the catalog, videos of each lot, sale details, and a link to our website.
• Videos will be posted on DVAuction. Our website (Facebook page) will have updates and information.
• On sale day, bidding will open at Noon with a starting price for each lot. You can start bidding at this time.
• Bids will begin to close at 7 PM. If a bid is placed within 5 minutes, the sale will extend for another 5 minutes. This continues until no bids are placed for 5 minutes. Then the sale is closed. All lots close at the same time.
Sale Terms:
The bulls are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale and guaranteed to pass a breeding soundness evalua- tion in the spring. Each lot is owned by the purchaser at the conclusion of the sale. Bulls can be kept and fed at Wollmuth Ranch until they are tested the beginning of April. Bulls will be delivered after that. Free delivery is offered within 200 miles of the Ranch. Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer beyond that dis- tance, but we will assist with getting the bulls to you. Buyers are encouraged to get insurance on their purchase as Wollmuth Ranch will not be held responsible for injury or death after the sale date. We will care for the bulls like our own and have had very few inci- dents, but accidents can happen.
