COLLEAGUES ACCOMMODATION RULES & REGULATIONS
The following Rules and Regulations must be adhered to at all times in order to ensure a harmonious living environment for all. Any breach thereof will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
Bedrooms •
Smoking is not permitted in the apartments. • All furniture and fixtures in your flat / room are your responsibility and the cost of repairing any damage or replacing any shortage will be charged to you. • Furniture may not be relocated or removed without the written authorization of the Colleagues Accommodation Manager. • Stickers are not allowed, and posters may be placed only on the mounted cork board. • The sharing of rooms or visits between unmarried males & females is strictly prohibited under UAE Law. • No person may occupy or sleep in a room other than that which is allocated to him/her. • No colleagues may enter another flat / room except with the permission of its occupants and only whilst the occupant is present. • The consumption or storage of any drugs and alcohol in any room is strictly forbidden. • Cooking appliances cannot be installed or used in the bedrooms. • Food is strictly forbidden from being consumed in the bedrooms due to hygiene and sanitation purposes. • Playing of music (volume) from the stereo system or television should always be kept at a moderate level in order not to inconvenience resting colleagues. • The hanging of laundry outside your room window is not permitted. • Rooms are allocated on the arrival of colleagues. Colleagues wishing to make a room change must address such requests to the Colleagues Accommodation Manager, in writing. Moves may only take place once the request is approved by the Director of Human Resources. Frequent room changes from the same individual will not be entertained. • Upon check-in into the Colleagues Accommodation (Khalifa A buildings and Villas) , all colleagues will be given an inventory list by the Colleagues Accommodation Manager. Each colleague is to sign and return the inventory list back to the Colleagues Accommodation Manager. • To avoid the loss/theft of personal valuables (such as money, camera, video camera, Discman, etc.) it is encouraged that these items are kept and stored in the provided drawers with locks. The hotel is not liable for the lost of personal items.
