Communal Areas

• Colleagues are to ensure that the toilets/bathrooms, kitchens, corridors and balconies are kept in a clean, dry and tidy condition after use – as clean as if it was new - the way in which you would like to find them. Colleagues who are sharing the flat must agree on a cleaning schedule to make sure that deep cleaning of the bathrooms and the kitchens (inside and outside the cupboards the fridges and the ovens) are done periodically and as needed. • In case the flat is found unclean, the Management reserves the right to call a cleaning company to clean the flat and charge the cost of cleaning to the colleagues sharing the flat without notice.

• Kitchen counters and areas must be left clean after every usage. All cooking utensils must be stored properly in the allocated cupboard space.

• To ensure the cleanliness of all rooms are kept and maintained to the highest level, the Colleagues Accommodation Manager will be randomly checking rooms on a daily basis.

• Posters on room cleanliness requirements will be placed in every kitchen for all to view and adhere to.

• Colleagues are to ensure when using the kitchen occasionally for cooking, the smell does not bother other colleagues sharing the flat and that the kitchen is cleaned immediately.

• Garbage must be disposed of and removed within an hour through the garbage shoot available on each floor.

• Give heed to good water and energy conservation practices, such as shutting off water taps when not in use and switching off lights/air condition when leaving your room for work.

• The posting of notices etc. other than those posted by Management is prohibited.

• In case of finding any insects/pests in the flat, it’s the colleague’s responsibility to inform the Colleagues Accommodation Manager immediately so he can call the pest control company.

• In case of loss of personal items or a breakage in locked drawer, colleagues must immediately report incident to the Colleagues Accommodation Manager.

• In case of any damage or out of order item in the flat, it is the responsibility of the colleagues to inform the Colleagues Accommodation Manager immediately in writing to follow up with the building maintenance. If the damage is caused by negligence or misu se of the flat’s fix tures and furniture the Management reserves the right to charge the repair cost to the concerned colleagues.
