BUSINESS NEWS LUNDA CONSTRUCTION AWARDED $60.2 MILLION ROTHSCHILD DAM MODERNIZATION PROJECT Tutor Perini Corporation, a leading civil, building and specialty construction company, announced that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has been awarded a contract by Domtar Paper Company, LLC valued at approximately $60.2 million to provide construction manager/general contractor services for the Rothschild Dam Modernization Project. Domtar’s projected total cost for this project is approximately $84 million, which includes Lunda’s contracted scope of work, as well as other anticipated costs. The project is located in Rothschild, Wisconsin. The scope of work includes the replacement of an existing timber dam with a modern concrete dam that will feature cofferdams for river diversion, as well as demolition of the existing timber dam structure, installation of deep foundations for structural support, placement of reinforced concrete, construction of a new control building, installation of a prefabricated bridge, and installation of the new dam gates. Work on this project began in July 2025 with substantial completion anticipated in early 2029. Lunda’s contract value was added to the Company’s backlog in the second quarter of 2025. The model is based on the Institution of Civil Engineers’ Project 13 principles — a delivery approach
