Flowers, candles, flags and glittery snowflakes are suspended from the ceiling like something out of a fairy tale. Spotlights on ANT-OVLA. He sits on a throne-like armchair in the middle of the stage. The walls are decorated with photos of his glorious life. The choir finishes the Sami national hymn and the room breaks into applause. The GOVERNOR, 65, gets on the stage, bows deeply for Ant- Ovla and leads him to the microphone. A big wooden box is opened. Inside: the big gold medal.
