Introduction From The Vice-Chancellor Thank you for your interest in the role of Head of Global Opportunities at Keele University. Keele has ambitious plans for its future growth and development, building upon its reputation as a research-led campus University with a broad academic base. We are large enough to have high impact and profile, but small enough to sustain our commitment to community and individuals. Whilst being rooted in its locality, the University is international in outlook and character and in the reach and impact of its education and research programmes. We are seeking to appoint a Head of Global Opportunities to lead on the development of the University’s mobility opportunities for both staff and students. This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong team management skills to lead the Global Opportunities team, which sits within the Directorate of Marketing and Communications The Global Opportunities team is responsible for student exchanges under Erasmus and outside Erasmus; fee paying study abroad; short courses; and the management of Erasmus + ICM programmes. The Head of Global Opportunities will be able to grow the university’s mobility activities, including the strategic development of full year, semester and shorter term mobility schemes both on
a fee paying and exchange basis while managing our transition out of the EU.
