The SubSea Quieter’s carbon- free technology is therefore highly anticipated by the maritime industry and set to be commercialised in 2024. MBA ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2022/23 Jérôme Pasquet, Audencia Business School, Franceand Jinlong Ming, School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China Jérôme Pasquet and Jinlong Ming are the joint winners of this year’s MBA Entrepreneur of the Year award. Pasquet launched PeeK’in in 2017 after identifying a hidden market with huge potential – returning forgotten hotel items to their owners, a tedious task that hoteliers are reluctant to perform. PeeK’in aims to provide a simple solution to this problem that is applicable worldwide and hopes to revolutionise a blind spot in the hotel industry. The PeeK’in venture follows a five-year project during which Pasquet successfully launched D-Vine, a wine-by-the-glass machine for hotels and restaurants. Ming is one of the main founders of Anhui Conch New Materials Technology, established in May 2018. An experienced economist and entrepreneur in the cement admixture industry, he owns five inventions and utility model patents. He also participates as the main author in the drafting of a national industry standard – something that will impact the concrete admixtures industry greatly. Ming graduated from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) with an MBA degree in 2021.
