2021/22 year has been a foundational year for

Secure the firm A number of security initiatives have kicked off this year which are already demonstrating positive outcomes in increasing the security of the firm and promoting a security first culture across the organisation. Coming up As we move through the rest of the year we are excited to deliver further updates and developments, including: • Moving your “My Documents” folder on your laptop to the cloud using an application called OneDrive for Business. You will be able to collaboratively edit documents with colleagues in real time, access your documents from any device including your mobile phone, and further improve performance and stability of the system. • Delivering a new IT Service Desk system to make it easier to get access to IT help and support. Watch out for a new self-service portal and new ways to contact the Service Desk later this year.

Laying the foundations

• Foundational work has taken place, starting the journey to the cloud which will improve resilience and reduce our local on-site (on-premise) footprint. • This includes building the Cloud (Azure) platform and commencing the re-platforming of key applications. • Work has also taken place to improve resilience with upgrades to the VPN and network infrastructure. • Work has started to further develop our Enterprise Data Platform placing us closer to becoming a Data Driven organisation. • Focus has been placed on growing and developing our capabilities across the IT functions, creating an Enterprise Architecture team and growing our security function.
