A LBANY I NTRODUCTORY C LINIC
I NTERMEDIATE S KILLS C LINICS (R ECOMMENDED AGES 9 AND OLDER )
( RECOMMENDED AGES 8 AND UNDER ) This option is suitable for children in their first or second year of golf. This clinic incorporates “Starting New at Golf” (SNAG) golf for younger beginners throughout the summer and selected elements of SNAG golf for older beginners during the first few days. This clinic is free for all members’ children and grandchildren and will be offered on the following dates:
This option is suitable for juniors who have previously participated in the introductory clinics and who are eager to improve their current golf game. Juniors who sign up for these clinics should be prepared to spend approximately 45 minutes with instruction and another hour on the golf course with limited adult supervision. J UNIOR G OLF L EAGUES & C OMPETITIONS For juniors ages 10 and older who are interested in more competition, the Northeastern New York PGA Section conducts a series of events throughout the summer. There are nearly 200 kids from the Capital District from a variety of country clubs and courses that compete. For further information visit www.neny.pga.com and go to the Junior Golf tab. Additionally, Albany Country Club will be fielding a PGA Jr. League Team this year for children 13 and under. This is an introductory league that travels and plays other clubs. P RIVATE L ESSONS This option is suitable for the intermediate and advanced junior golfer. Please inquire at the pro shop to arrange for private lessons with Joel, Andrew or Glenn. In between lessons, junior golfers should plan to play on their own by arranging additional tee times with other junior golfers. Please inquire at the pro shop for lesson rates/ fees.

Toddler Tennis Ages 2-3 Red Ball A whole new way for toddlers to play and explore, this class is the perfect age-appropriate introduction to tennis, providing your child with safe, fun stimulation in an engaging environment that focuses on visual tracking, hand- eye coordination, balance and foundational athletic skill. Tuesday through Thursday: 10:30 to 11:00 am Complimentary Orange Ball This group spends most of their time on the court working on hand/eye coordination drills and learning the basic techniques of all strokes using the Quick Start format. Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 to 10:00 am Complimentary Beginners Age 10 & Under Green Ball The lesson begins with drills that work on all strokes, followed by a half hour of games and match play. Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 to 10:30 am $20/clinic or $64 week* (*20% discount for week) Advanced Clinic All Ages Regular Ball Classes focus on fundamental skills for the development of match play. The clinic includes 45 minutes of instruction followed by games and match play. Tuesday-Friday: 9:00 am to 11:00 am $25/clinic or $80/week* (*20% discount for week) Clinics begin June 28 and run through September 2, 2022. Tennis instruction provided by Director of Tennis Shannon O'Sullivan and our team of tennis Intermediate Age 12 & Under counselors. Sign up for the day or the week; siblings receive a 10% discount. Please have children wear sunscreen and bring a re-fillable water bottle. Children can bring their own racquet but we also have them available. Registration is required and class sizes are limited so that we may comply with NY State Dept of Health Camp regulations.

Typical daily activities include (but not limited to): Field Games such as kickball, baseball, soccer, capture the flag,
tag games, basketball, football, relay races, dodgeball, arts and crafts, science and nature activities, free swim (daily), team building activities, snag golf and tennis. Camp ACC also has a variety of indoor activities available for rainy/super hot days.
CAMP ACC Goals and Objectives:
This summer, we will follow the guidelines put in place by the CDC. These include small groups that remain together but are socially distant from other groups, with the same staff each day.
• Encourage creative expression through imagination and adventure. • Enhance individual character and moral development. • Develop camper's skills in game, sports, nature and aquatics. • Develop new friendships and social skills including team work and group responsibility.
• Have fun in a safe and friendly environment.

B ASIC R ULES FOR N ON - G OLF F AMILIES : • Children under 12 years must be accompanied by their parents (or parent’s designee) at all times. • Children 12-18 years of age are allowed to use the facilities, as allowed by their membership category, unaccompanied by their parents at no additional cost. • Children 19-23 years of age, living at home, may use the facilities, as allowed by their membership category, unaccompanied by their parents by opting to pay the “Optional” Privilege Fee

All adult members have full use of all facilities; golf, pool, tennis and clubhouse.
• Junior Golfers under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible individual at all times. • Junior golfers 10 -18 years of age must be accompanied by one parent (or parent's designee of a responsible individual) unless as "optional" privilege fee has been paid on their behalf in which case they may play and practice unaccompanied; and • (Effective for memberships starting prior to 7/1/21) Children of family or single parent members 19 - 26 years of age living at home or in college may use the golf facilities if accompanied by a parent unless an "optional" privilege fee has been paid on their behalf in which case they may play and practice unaccompanied; • (Effective for memberships starting on or after 7/1/21) Children of family or single parent members 19 - 23 years of age living at home or in college may use the golf facilities if accompanied by a parent unless an "optional" privilege fee has been paid on their behalf in which case they may play and proactive unaccompanied; and • Tournament Play - Children of members for whom a privilege fee has been paid on their behalf are prohibited from playing in all tournaments with the sole exceptions that they will be allowed to participate in their respective Stroke Play and Club Championship only if they qualify for the Championship Flight.
