Day 1 Travel to your hotel in Morecambe. Day 2 Venture into the Yorkshire Dales National Park this morning to the renowned Wensleydale Creamery for a demonstration on the making of ‘Wallace’s’ favourite cheese. From Hawes, travel along the beautiful Garsdale valley into Cumbria and ‘England’s book town’, Sedbergh. Take time to explore this market town with a selection of shops and eateries before heading along the Lune Valley to Kirby Lonsdale. Flanking three counties, Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, this quaint market town oers a selection of local shops and cafes to enjoy at your own pace. Day 3 Travel north this morning for a visit to Holker Hall & Gardens, near Grange-over-Sands. Owned by Lord and Lady Cavendish, Holker Hall

is the epitome of country house life before the Great War and the 25 acres of award winning gardens sit beautifully within the surrounding countryside. No visit to the Lake District would be complete without a cruise, so this afternoon sail across Lake Windermere to Bowness. After disembarking, explore this popular holiday village before returning to the hotel. Day 4 Travel through the wild open spaces of the Forest of Bowland, to the market town of Clitheroe. Wander through the characterful streets before departing for charming Skipton to enjoy a relaxing trip on the Leeds/Liverpool canal. Day 1 Travel to your hotel in Cumbria. Day 2 This morning head north towards Lake Ullswater for a relaxing cruise followed by time at leisure in Keswick, which is surrounded by some of the area’s highest and most beautiful peaks. In the afternoon, spend time in Grasmere where, time allowing and for an additional cost, it is possible to arrange admission to Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth Museum. Day 3 A leisurely morning beginning with a short heritage rail journey from Haverthwaite to Lakeside. No visit to the Lake District would be complete without a cruise, and it is from here you will sail across Lake Windermere to Bowness.

After disembarking, explore this popular holiday village at leisure. There are cafés, restaurants, shops and places to visit, such as the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. Day 4 A scenic drive this morning to charming Ambleside, one of the most popular towns in the Lake District.
