Day 1 Travel to Portsmouth or Lymington for the short journey to the Isle of Wight. Day 2 This morning is to Carisbrooke Castle. Sitting high and proud at the heart of the Isle of Wight, it is the quintessential romantic castle with far reaching panoramic views. After departing, stop at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. With over 100 donkeys to say hello to, they oer any donkey in need a loving and forever home. Day 3 Set sail this morning on a cruise around the ports of Cowes and Portsmouth. Enjoy fantastic views of the island coastline, Osborne House and Norris Castle, in addition to sea forts and the Naval Base at Portsmouth. Once back on dry ground,
visit Brightstone and Isle of Wight Pearl, with its spectacular cli-top views over the English Chan- nel. Finally, onto charming Godshill to wander at leisure, taking a look at the thatched cottages and model village (admission not included). Day 4 Begin the day at Osborne House, Queen Vic- toria’s island retreat. Highlights include the lavishly furnished State Rooms and glorious grounds and gardens. Later, travel to the award winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Experience the golden age of travel as you settle back in beautifully restored carriages, a bygone era when steam power was the order of the day. Day 5 Homeward journey.

Day 1 Early afternoon crossing from Heysham to the Isle of Man. Day 2 First stop today is Castletown. See the wonderfully preserved Castle Rushen before heading on to unmissable, spectacular views of Calf Sound. Continue to Cregneash, with admission to the National Folk Museum. Set in beautiful countryside, explore the thatched Manx cottages. On then for time at leisure in Port Erin, nestling in its scenic bay, before boarding the island’s heritage steam railway for the journey back to Douglas. Day 3 This morning is in Peel, said to be the best example of a typical Manx town. Here, we include admission to the House of Manannan, where the Island’s mythological sea god, Manannan, guides you through the Island’s rich Celtic, Viking and
maritime past. Afterwards, stroll along Peel’s beach or relax in one of the cafes before returning to Douglas for time at leisure. Day 4 Begin the day by joining the Manx Electric Railway which connects the Island’s capital, Douglas, with Laxey in the east. At Laxey, join the Snaefell Mountain Railway for a spectacular climb to the islands highest point at 2036 feet, before admission to the ‘Lady Isabella’, the world’s largest working watermill. Continue by coach to Ramsey, the main town in the north of the island for time at leisure. On then to the nal stop of the day, the Isle of Man Motor Museum. We include admission here, and subject to availability on the day, a tour of the workshop may be oered. Day 5 Morning crossing back to Heysham and homeward bound.
