Day 1 Travel to your hotel in Irvine. Day 2 With its abundance of over 9000 objects, this morning is to the Burrell Collection on the outskirts of Glasgow for a guided tour of the collection showing the highlights ranging from Chinese Art, medieval treasures and tapestries to renowned French artists. Afterwards, take time to wander in the beautiful park and woodlands. This afternoon, you may consider a short hop into Glasgow city centre for time to explore or a scenic drive along the coast past Port Glasgow, into the seaside town of Largs, to wander and perhaps enjoy one of the many avours of ice cream at Nardini’s. Day 3 Today is to Dumfries House for a guided tour. Saved by a last-minute intervention of the then Prince Charles and the subsequent restoration of one of Britain’s most beautiful stately homes. Set
in 2,000 acres of land, this 18th-century house has an unrivalled collection of original furniture amongst the many highlights. Enjoy refreshments and wander in the grounds where we also include admission to the ve acre Queen Elizabeth Walled Gardens, considered in many ways the agship project of the Dumfries House Estate restoration. Return to Irvine, via Troon with its sandy beaches, beautiful views and bustling harbour. Day 4 Full day excursion to the Isle of Arran, beginning with an included visit to Brodick Castle. Dramatically set against the backdrop of Goatfell, the grand red sandstone, baronial-style castle has stunning views over Brodick Bay and boasts impressive gardens. Spend time in Brodick before re-boarding the ferry back to the mainland. Day 5 Homeward journey.

Day 1 Travel to the hotel near Glasgow. Day 2 With an abundance of history, attractions and beautiful architecture, Edinburgh is an incredible capital city. Enjoy a panoramic guided tour with the rest of the day to explore at your own pace. Day 3 A leisurely day to the New Lanark UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded in 1785 and known for its pioneering social history. See how the villagers lived, learned and worked. Magni cent views can be taken of the River Clyde from the rooftop garden and, for those that wish, there is a lovely woodland walk.
Day 4 Head for the North Berwickshire coast, stopping at the Archer eld Walled Garden. Wander through the 18th century garden, browse in the food market or enjoy a co ee and cake. On then to the seaside town of North Berwick. Home to a mixture of shops and cafes, venture to the old har- bour with striking views over the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock.
