Here, join the train for a scenic trip to the Kyle of Lochalsh with spectacular views and light glinting o the waters of the many lochs. Rejoining the coach, spend time in the small village of Plockton. A picturesque Highland village that sits on a sheltered bay with stunning views overlooking Loch Carron. Day 6 Depart for overnight stop in the Lockerbie area. Day 7 Homeward bound.
Day 1 Travel north for overnight stop in the Lockerbie area. Day 2 Onward journey deep into the Highlands to Gairloch, your base for 4 nights. Day 3 A short hop this morning with a local operator so your driver can have a rest day, to Inverewe Gardens. A garden like no other with amazing species that simply shouldn’t grow there! Lose yourself in this lush setting before exploring Inverewe House, now an interactive museum. The remainder of the day is at leisure in the pretty harbour town of Gairloch. Day 4 Today, sample part of the North Coast 500 route. See the tiny sheep-inhabited Gruinard Island, Little Loch Broom and its fantastic views of the Loch and An Tellach, the highest mountain in the area.
