Day 1 Afternoon ferry crossing from south Wales. Day 2 Begin the day in New Ross and a guided tour of the 1840s Dunbrody Famine Ship and its insight and interpretation of the Irish emigrant experience. From here, to the Hook Peninsula to see the world’s oldest operational lighthouse with stunning views from the Hook headland. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see dolphins or the village of Crooke on the other side of the bay? Johnstown Castle is our next destination, where we include a tour of the Gothic-Revival Castle. Before departing, explore the Irish Agricultural Museum, lake walks and ornamental gardens. Day 3 Today begins in Waterford, Ireland’s oldest
city, and a tour at the House of Waterford Crystal, where glowing balls of molten crystal are blown in front of your eyes. Venture on to the coastal town of Dungarvan, before heading along ‘The Copper Coast’ and time in the seaside resort of Tramore. Day 4 A short drive to Huntingdon Castle and Gardens. Built in 1625 and still in the same ownership, a guided tour with a family member will tell tales of this beautiful castle and gardens. On then along the Mount Leinster Heritage Trail, through Fenagh and Bagenalstown, to Kilkenny for time at leisure. Return to the hotel. Day 5 Morning ferry crossing and homeward journey.

Day 1 Afternoon ferry crossing via south Wales and overnight stop in the Waterford area. Day 2 Travel to County Cork with a visit to Cobh, the nal port of call for the Titanic before she met her fate in 1912. On then to your base, Clonakilty. Day 3 Journey via Mizen Head to Bantry for time at leisure, but not before a visit to Bantry House and its impressive treasures. On then to the harbour town of Glengari for a boat trip to Garnish Island where visitors will see the eects of its unique micro climate and possibly its colony of seals. Day 4 Today is at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s facilities and this lovely town. A leisurely walk will nd you in the town centre with access to Clonakilty Distillery, West Cork Model Railway Village and
Michael Collins House Museum. For the more adventurous, visit the Clonakilty Blackpudding Visitor Centre, who make the most popular black pudding in Ireland with their secret recipe. Day 5 Visit the vibrant city of Cork for shopping and sightseeing amongst the colourful buildings on the banks of the river. Visit the famous English Market selling Cork’s artisan produce, and see the spectacular Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral. This afternoon visit Blarney Castle and for those wishing to, kiss the famous Blarney Stone. Day 6 Head east towards your overnight hotel, enjoying the stunning Wild Atlantic Way enroute. Day 7 Morning ferry crossing and homeward journey.
