This lovely tour includes a trip on the fantastic Swiss mountain train from Chur to the high resort of Arosa, as well as visits to Lake Constance and Appenzellerland. Below is an outline itinerary, however further details can be provided on request.
Day 5 To Chur to join the Arosa Mountain Railway for a journey through deep ravines and across a high viaduct to the Swiss village of Arosa which o ers great views of snow covered peaks. Return to Chur by train and then travel back to Feldkirch in time for dinner. Day 6 Depart Austria and travel northwards to France and the overnight in the Metz area. Day 7 Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.

Day 3 A local bus is included for a guided tour of historic Feldkirch and entrance to Schattenburg Castle Museum. After a free afternoon return to the hotel for Glühwein. Day 4 A full scenic day in the Bregenzerwald to include a visit to a cheese producer with tasting. Return via Lindau and Lake Constance.

The mountainous Bregenzerwald is perfectly framed by Lake Constance and by the lush Alpine valleys of Austria and Switzerland. This tour goes o the beaten track to take in some lesser known, but fantastic attractions. This tour usually departs on Friday but variations can be arranged on request. Day 1 Channel crossing and overnight in the Metz area. Day 2 Continue via the Black Forest and Switzerland, to Feldkirch for a 5 night stay. Day 4 Full day excursion through the Bregenzerwald with a visit to a traditional cheesemaker. Then take the little Wälderbähnle Railway from Bezau to Schwarzenberg before journeying through the breathtaking Bödele Pass. Day 5 Travel to Lake Constance with an included
railway trip at Rheineck. Continue for a visit to Appenzell with its famous painted houses before an included train ride from Appenzell to Altstätten. Finally call into Hohenems for a chocolate tasting at the traditional Fenkart Schlosska ee. Day 6 See the old city of Constance, cross the lake on the ferry to Meersburg and then visit Salem Castle. Stop in Hagnau for an included wine tasting before returning to Feldkirch. Day 7 Depart Austria and travel northwards to France and the overnight in the Metz area.
