Day 1 Channel crossing and overnight in the Metz area. Day 2 Travel into Austria via the impressive Fern Pass and join the Inn Valley before climbing up to Igls for a 5 night stay. Day 3 A day at leisure in Igls, with lunch included at the hotel. Explore the village, take a bus to the cable car or to nearby Innsbruck. Those wishing for a quiet day can enjoy the swimming pool and courtyard garden. Day 4 A local excursion to nearby Innsbruck, ‘Capital of the Tyrol’. See the city’s highlights including the Golden Roof, Imperial Palace and Hofkirche. A guided walking tour is recommended to gain the most from the visit. Free time to explore at leisure before returning to Igls.

Day 5 Travel to Achensee, the Tyrol’s largest lake and a sparkling jewel in the heart of the Rofan Alps. Board the Achensee Cog Railway at Jenbach, the world’s oldest train of its kind, and take the leisure- ly journey to Seespitz. Free time in Pertisau before boarding the boat for a cruise on the lake, taking in the pretty villages dotted along the shoreline. Meet the coach and return to Igls. Day 6 An excursion through the impressive Ziller Valley, to the vibrant town of Mayrhofen. Time here to discover the many shops and cafes, or enjoy a cable car ride to the Zillertal Mountains. Enjoy the journey back through the valley to Igls. Day 7 Leave Austria and stop for dinner and an overnight stay in the Metz area. Day 8 Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.

Day 1 Channel crossing. Overnight in the Metz area. Day 2 Pass Munich, into Austria and on to Mayrhofen for a 5 night stay. Day 3 A day at leisure in Mayrhofen, enjoy a stroll around the town, or take a cable car high up into the mountains to enjoy great views of the village and valley. Day 4 Take the short journey to the regional capital of Innsbruck. Here, take time to explore and see the Golden Roof, Imperial Palace and Hofkirche which can all be found near the city centre. A walking tour is highly recommended. After time to relax and explore the city, in the afternoon return to Mayrhofen for dinner. Day 5 A long scenic day travelling over the impressive Gerlos Pass (toll road) to Krimml to

see one of Europe’s most spectacular waterfalls. Continue to the town of Kitzbühel with time to discover the pretty old town. Stroll the pedestrian centre, visit the town’s museum, or enjoy a coee at a pavement café. Day 6 A scenic day starting with a journey down the Ziller Valley and continuing to the picturesque city of Rattenberg, the smallest city in Austria. The pedestrian centre is full of local artisans and pavement cafes. Continue to Lake Achensee and Scholastika to board a cruise to the lakeshore town of Pertisau. Take time at leisure here before returning to Mayrhofen. Day 7 Depart Austria and stop for dinner and an overnight stay in the Metz area. Day 8 Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
