Day 1 Short Channel crossing. On past Gent before proceeding to Volendam for a 3 night stay. Day 2 After a short journey by coach join the included Rail and Sail trip, starting with a boat trip from Enkhuizen, with co ee and apple pie on board. Arriving in Medemblik there will be time to explore and get refreshments before a journey on the steam tram to Hoorn. Rejoin the coach and return to Volendam.
Day 3 Morning visit to Zaanse Schans, a living museum with original buildings dating back to the mid-19th century. Here visit the working windmills and see traditional crafting in action. Return to Volendam via the Simonhoeve Cheese and Clog Farm. Afternoon free to explore Volendam. Day 4 Travel south with a possible stop in Bruges before continuing on to Calais for the short Channel crossing to Dover and home.

Spend the afternoon in the traditional town of Apeldoorn and discover the many squares, shops and cafés the city has to o er. Day 3 A morning visit to Royal Delft Pottery, the last remaining maker in the region. The informative
museum charts over 350 years of history of porcelain production on the site. Make the short transfer to the historic city centre for free time to discover the royal history of the Nieuwe Kerk, the last resting place of almost all the Royal House of Orange-Nassau. Continue for an afternoon visit to The Hague, home to the Dutch Parliament and the Royal Family. This elegant city boasts world class galleries and museums, grand architecture and a vibrant café culture.
