Day 1 Short Channel crossing. Arrive in Hasselt for a 3 night stay. Day 2 Spend today in Hasselt. A visit to the Japanese Garden is highly recommended, which is the largest of its kind in Europe. The city is also home to the Jenevermuseum, oering a guided tour of the distillery which produces this local gin-like speciality. The main square is home to a number of cafes and restaurants to relax in and enjoy the city.

Day 3 A day across the border to the Netherlands. Start with a visit to Valkenburg, where a guided train tour of the Municipal Cave is highly recommended. Free time here before returning to Hasselt via Maastricht, where you can enjoy a scenic river cruise, as well as time at leisure to discover this stylish city. Day 4 Travel through Belgium for the Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
