Day 1 Board Brittany Ferries and cruise overnight to Santander. Day 2 On arrival in Spain, proceed to the Salamanca area for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3 Travel southwards and into Andalucia, to Córdoba for a 2 night stay. Day 4 Explore the rich history of Córdoba with a local guide. Admission to the Mosque-Cathedral and Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos is included. Day 5 Depart Córdoba and travel to the regional capital, Seville for a 3 night stay. Day 6 A full day guided tour of the city centre with visits to the Plaza de España Square and the Real Alcázar Palace. Admission to the imposing Cathedral is included. Day 7 A full day guided excursion to Jerez with a tour and tasting at a Sherry producer included. Continue to the ancient port city of Cadiz, with its interesting mix of cultures.
Day 8 Travel to the coast via Antequera, which is dominated by its Moorish Fortress. Continue to the Malaga area for a 4 night stay. Day 9 A day at leisure to enjoy the hotel and resort. Day 10 An excursion to the spectacular mountaintop town of Ronda. Famed for its deep gorge, admission to the Museum Casa Don Bosco is included with its wonderful interiors, gardens and views. Day 11 A full day excursion to the mountain village of Mijas, with its whitewashed, Arabic architecture. Continue to the stylish coastal resort of Marbella, with its old town set around its marina. Day 12 Depart Andalucia and travel northwards to the Segovia area and an overnight stay. Day 13 Travel to Santander and board Brittany Ferries and cruise overnight to England. Day 14 Arrive back on the south coast and travel home.

Day 1 Board the Brittany Ferries cruise ferry service to Santander. Relax and enjoy a night on board ship. Day 2 Arrive Santander and proceed to the wonderful old city of Burgos for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3 Continue westwards into Portugal to the coastal town of Praia da Viera for a 5 night stay. Day 4 A full day guided excursion to the coastal city of Porto. Admission to the Cathedral is included, which is renowned for its silver alter and 18th century tiles. After, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Douro River. The day ends with a Port Wine cellar visit and tasting. Day 5 A guided excursion to mediaeval Coimbra, a former capital of Portugal. The city has been a cultural centre for centuries, and admission is
included to the impressive university, which is one of the world’s oldest. Free time after to explore this unique city. Day 6 A morning visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Batalha Monastery, considered an architectural masterpiece and one of the most signi cant in the country. Continue on to Nazaré, a traditional shing village renowned for its lovely beach. Return to the hotel late afternoon. Day 7 A full day at leisure to discover this traditional town and enjoy its beach and promenade. Day 8 Leave Portugal and travel into Spain and on to Palencia for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 9 To Santander to board the afternoon cruise- ferry crossing back to the UK. Day 10 Arrive back on the south coast and travel home.
