Eugenia Cano and Agata Raczynska (illustration) Poleke is very sad because her grandad recently passed away. Even though she was by his side until the last minute, the grieving process has not been easy. Her boyfriend is on holiday in Morocco and she feels that the adults around her don’t get her. However, her Mexican friend, Consuelo, shares the tradition of the Day of the Dead with her. Together they visit the cemetery where they experience a very touching moment. She then realizes that love is an eternal bond that keeps us united with those that we cherish, even if they are gone. This fifth and last book in the series of Poleke shows the importance of treasuring life’s happy moments and learning to move on.
