Admiral Purchases Sitexco Anilox Cleaning System Admiral Packaging, Inc. of Providence, Rhode Is- land, has invested in a Sitexco Anilox Roll Cleaning System from Eaglewood Technologies. The Sitexco Systems received the 2018 FTA Techni- cal Innovation Award and has been nominated for the Label Industry Global Award for Innovation. Admiral chose the Sitexco SL 127 System as part of its sustainability initiative and to replace its liquid cleaning operation with an environmental solution. PIA Now Accepting Best Workplace Submissions Printing Industries of America (PIA) has opened its 2019 Best Workplace in the Americas (BWA) program for submissions with the entry deadline set for Novem- ber 9.The awards program focuses on Human Relations benchmarking categories to promote companies em- bracing the most sought-after qualities for today’s workforce: Communication & Culture; Employee Re- sources & Benefits; and Safety &Work Environment. Included again this year will be the Safety Shield designation which offers: • A cost-effective assessment of your safety pro- grams against OSHA standards based on top violations • Ability to quickly and easily denote your dedica- tion to safety when hiring and retaining talent • A plaque commemorating your achievement as a Safety Shield recipient As with previous years, entrants will be evaluated against similarly sized companies. FTA Announces Forum 2019 Chair, Co-Chair Flexographic Technical Association has announced the official chair and co-chair of next year’s annual forum event are Ann Michaud of 3M Co. and Hank Welter of TC Transcontinental Packaging. Forum 2019 is set to take place at the Hilton New Orleans River- side hotel, May 5-8. Planning is also well underway for INFOFLEX, the trade show co-located with Forum. The show floor will be open from May 6-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
