T he Texas Association of Builders (TAB) is a trade association that was formed in 1946 and is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The association has 27 local home builders associations across Texas. With a membership of nearly 10,000 representing over 758,000 jobs and more than $71.5 billion annually to the Texas economy, TAB plays a crucial role in providing housing for Texans. TAB offers its members a comprehensive package of resources and benefits to help them build their businesses: industry publications, regulatory guidance, legislative lobbying efforts, valuable educational services, and an information-filled website. By joining the Texas Association of Builders, members can tap into an information network that will help them improve their bottom line. Members of local home builders associations are automatically members of the Texas Association of Builders and the National Association of Home Builders.
