SERV FOSTERING A COMMITMENT TO Expanding Access to Justice and Opportunity
Serving as the VISTA Leader at the Feerick Center allowed me to grow as a person and a professional; it gave me a newfound hope for the world knowing all of the good work such a small group was doing, along with the help of agencies throughout the city and state. The Feerick Center engages AmeriCorps VISTA members, through the Corporation for National and Community Service, to build relationships in the community and help strengthen our partner organizations’ programming and outreach. Under the center’s stewardship, the AmeriCorps VISTA members are working to further social justice in our city and learning to lead as our next generation’s advocates for social change.
