Friends, We are blown away by all God has done in 2023 at Sparrow! It is an absolute joy to cultivate the Kingdom and see lives transformed by Jesus Christ, both locally and globally, through our three ministry initiatives: Sparrow Collective, Sparrow & Co, and Sparrow on Main. This past year God brought over 4,421 individuals, including women, men and children, through the doors of our ministry. We were given the opportunity to be a place of belonging and restoration. A place of celebration and community. A place of hope and empowerment. At Sparrow, we believe no one is insignificant in the eyes of God, and that each image bearer is worth great dignity and value. We are grateful that you have linked arms with us as we work to communicate this truth to those in our local and global communities.

OUR STORY Through the ministry of Sparrow, over 10,000 women have heard the gospel, experienced freedom, studied God’s truth, realized their identity, and been catalyzed into Kingdom purposes. Sparrow began in 2011 as a small women’s Bible study in the home of our founder, Rachel Joy. At these gatherings, women experienced the ways in which the gospel of Jesus Christ breaks down walls and sets people free. These women discovered a new identity in Christ and were set on mission with a Kingdom purpose. Seeking to unify and mobilize more women with the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Sparrow Conference was born and served women nationwide from 2012 to 2019. With God’s leading, in 2020 Sparrow launched year-round local and global initiatives designed to equip and catalyze women into meaningful work. Today, Sparrow is home to four ministry initiatives: Sparrow Collective, Sparrow & Co, Sparrow on Main, and S|Coaching (which will launch in 2024). Through these four initiatives, we strive to give others a variety of opportunities to live on purpose and for a purpose.

A RESTORE STORY When I first met Jane, she had just moved to town. She was trying to exit out of the adult entertainment industry and provide a better life for herself and her children. Recognizing her emotional, spiritual, and physical needs, she entered into the Sparrow Restore 1.0 Program. Slowly, God restored her sense of dignity and value and, by the Spirit’s power, she began to understand who God made her to be and what he made her to do. After completing Restore 1.0, Jane joined the Sparrow Restore 2.0 Program where she began to read and understand the Bible, as well as experience true community. In the Spring of 2023, she entered into our Sparrow Restore nine month Job Training Program where she identified her talents and gifting, plus learned invaluable job skills. This September, she was hired at Sparrow & Co as part of our textile production team. By God’s grace, we are seeing God’s plan to restore and transform lives through thoughtfully designed relational care, spiritual care, job training, and economic empowerment. We are overwhelmed by Jane’s story, and the redeeming stories of so many others who have participated in the Sparrow Restore Program.

Each woman arrived with their unique story, in a specific stage of hurting and in need of healing. Each woman now carries
a new hope to her spouse, children, friends, and greater community. 4 JOB TRAINING PARTICIPANTS
Job Training participants spent nine months learning valuable skills: customer service, event management, retail, team dynamics, money management, problem solving, professionalism, resume building, scheduling, and more.
2 WOMEN IN NEW JOBS
After completing the Job Training Program, two women began new jobs, enabling them to use their new skills to financially provide for their families. *Two women are currently in Job Training and we hope to see them find meaningful employment upon completion in 2024.

RESTORE 2024 VISION
40 RESTORE PARTICIPANTS
In 2024, our goal is to welcome and walk with 40 women through the Restore 1.0 and 2.0 Programs, providing new hope, healing, and support for each woman. 4 JOB TRAINING PARTICIPANTS In 2024, we hope to again welcome four new women to our team as part of the nine month Job Training Program. Each participant will work hands on with each ministry initiative to learn important job skills.

We will work to help our four Job Training Program graduates move on to fulfilling jobs with confidence and skills, equipped with new hope and joy as they work to earn a living wage for themselves and their families.

2023 HIGHLIGHT In October 2023, we launched Sparrow Online with the Sparrow Identity Course. Our goal is for women everywhere to have access to theologically sound teaching about their God-given identity, gifting, and purpose.
2024 VISION As we develop video and written Biblical resources through Sparrow Online, our hope is to partner with 50 churches and organizations, equipping their members to live with purpose and intentionally cultivate the Kingdom in their spheres of influence.

S | COACHING
2023 HIGHLIGHT
Throughout 2023, S|Coaching reached 750 men and women through speaking and teaching engagements. In addition, five qualified men and women were trained as S|Coaches.
2024 VISION
As we launch S|Coaching with our new S|Coaches, our aim is to host 40 groups. We want men, women, and marriages to experience growth and restoration through their stories, gaining clarity and confidence in their God-given identity, gifting, and purpose.

LAUNCHED
Sparrow & Co Production Studio, whose mission is to economically empower women through reliable employment and job training. Through S&Co Production we were able to offer employment to a Restore Job Training graduate 3 days a week to produce all S&Co pillows. Sparrow & Co Design Services, which completed 4 design projects, allowing designers and clients to intentionally design homes while creating meaningful impact. Sparrow & Co Holiday Market, which provides community connection and gives consumers the opportunity to shop with purpose for the holiday season while showcasing the talents of 8 local makers.
2024 VISION
EXPAND & LAUNCH
In 2024, we hope to continue these good works by expanding the S&Co product line, doubling our design service projects, and growing the Holiday Market. In addition, we hope to launch Sparrow & Co Wholesale, which will allow us to employ more women, connect with other retailers, and grow our annual revenue.
IMMEASURABLE It has been humbling to see the ways the Lord has worked through the ministry of Sparrow in 2023, but the truth is that the impact made when women, men, and children come to oknow and trust Jesus Christ is immeasurable.
It is because of partners like you that we are able to provide women in the midst of difficult circumstances with a job, relational and spiritual support, a safe place to heal, and ongoing care. Words simply cannot express our gratitude to you for partnering with us to see lives restored and transformed both locally and globally. We want to see many more lives changed in 2024. God’s story of restoration is far greater than any of us can imagine!
