We hope 2025 has treated you well! It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Annual Barnes Angus Bull Sale. This has been one of the most exciting times to be ranching with the record high prices and the promise of high prices for the next year. I believe this set of bulls will allow you to take advantage of the current market and maximize your profits in the future years. The Barnes Angus Ranch is a 4th generation commercial cow calf operation. The majority of the registered cows trace back to Stevenson Angus genetics. Our program from the start has always focused on producing the best sound maternal females that can handle the extremes. We want to focus on the best maternal traits in our herd with a heavy culling. My Grandpa Garth used to say, “If you have good cows, the rest will follow suit.” I am truly excited to bring one of the best sets of 2 year old bulls that I have ever offered. These bulls are slow grown for longevity and soundness. During the year, these bulls are not pampered and have to prove themselves. Disposition is always a big priority that I focus on. This set of bulls as a whole has the best disposition of any set I have ever offered. Barnes Angus is focusing more on owning sires, so we can see how they grow and hold up over time. There are 4 sire groups in this offering available for viewing at the ranch any time. If you are interested in these sires, the Lots are 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, and 47. Everyone is welcome to come view the bulls any time prior to the sale at the ranch. We are extremely confident in this year’s offering. Barnes Angus Connor Barnes (402)389-2412 Barnes Angus Ranch Loyalty This year Barnes Angus is honoring a 5% discount on every bull purchased by any single customer that has purchased bulls in TWO consecutive sales prior to this offering. In order to qualify, the purchases need to be from the 2024 and 2025 sales. Retaining Interest -Selling full possession and ½ Semen Interest on all bulls selling. The bull you purchase is completely in your control regarding how you handle the bull and use for natural service. You receive 100% of the salvage value of the bull. Barnes Angus retaining ½ semen interest simply allows the right to share in collection of semen, use in our herds, and the right to share in semen sale revenue if semen sales become a possibility.
