Add texture, colour and personalized accents with throw pillows. Choose good quality fill for your pillow forms - feathers are always the best, they're comfortable and hold up to constant use. Pillow covers can be switched out seasonally and laundered when needed and can be purchsed in an endless variety of fabrics, styles and options. Use throw pillows in different sizes, textures and styles - extra large pillows are perfect for cuddling up on the floor.
Underfoot
Area rugs are a wonderful addition to your family room and an opportunity to introduce a pop of colour or extra luxury. Choose a rug that offers extra comfort for lounging on the floor but is still easy to clean and won't show dirt.
Room For Everyone
If you can't include a large sectional in your family room, add extra seating with poofs, ottomans, accent chairs or floor pillows.
Cuddle Up
Don't forget to add soft and cosy throws and blankets to your sofas and chairs. Throw blankets come in the softest of fabrics that simply invite and encourage you to cuddle-up. Choose throws that are low-maintenance and machine washable; for 'super-fuzzy' throws - take the extra time to wash on delicate and lay flat to dry or they tend to lose their softness.
